Christian is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Legalist, an alternative asset management sponsor focused on niche asset classes including litigation finance and debtor-in-possession financing. Legalist has over $750M AUM, and over 300 investments across its several funds. Christian has been recognized by Forbes 30 under 30 for his work there.
At Legalist, Christian worked with many advisory firms, and saw firsthand the challenges that the advisory industry faces today with investing in alternative assets. He spun-out Alternativ as the one-advisor experience for public and private investments in early 2022.
When not working, Christian enjoys biking and running in the Marin headlands, just north of San Francisco.
Christian was studying for a Bachelors in Economics and Masters in Computer Science at Harvard University (class of 2017), before dropping out in 2016 to found Legalist and participate in YCombinator, a Silicon Valley accelerator. YCombinator has invested in over 3,500 companies, with a combined valuation nearing $1T.
