Steve Dean, MBA, CFA®
Steve leads the investment team at Alternativ and develops and oversees the implementation of our model marketplace. He has deep experience implementing investment strategies for both institutional and wealth advisor clients. Prior to Alternativ, Steve was CIO of a billion dollar TAMP where he led the development of model investment portfolios. He also worked with some of the world’s largest institutional asset owners as Head of Investment Strategy at AXA Rosenberg, a leading global quantitative equity manager. He began his career in the economic research departments of the Federal Reserve Banks of New York and San Francisco.
Steve lives in the San Francisco Bay area and enjoys exploring Northern California with his family.
Education
Steve holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hamilton.
