Kyon Pannill

Kyon oversees all things trading at Alternativ. Prior to joining Alternativ, Kyon worked for a number of different investment management firms / TAMPs in trading and leadership capacities. During his time with a rapidly-growing Inc. 500 investment firm, Kyon managed the Trade Desk as Senior VP of Trading – overseeing trading operations of approximately $3.2B in AUM. He has experience with 11 different major custodians as well as numerous portfolio management and trading platforms. Being on the Trade Desk for the greater part of the past 10 years, Kyon has extensive experience working with Advisors on any and all questions pertaining to trading. Kyon also previously started his own firm, teaching him the intricacies of a number of different departments, including: billing, compliance, transfers, cashiering, and reporting. In his spare time, Kyon enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. If not hanging out around the house, they're usually spending free time going to the local zoos, going to the beach, or cruising around on their golf cart.

‍Education

Kyon studied Finance at Michigan State University where he completed his Bachelor's degree. After his time at Michigan State, Kyon went on to earn his Master's in BusinessAdministration (MBA) at Grand Valley State University. During his coursework, Kyon was involved in a number of different academic associations.In addition to his formal education, his current and previous industry-specific credentials include: Series 7, Series 7 TO, SIE, Series 66, Series 24, Variable Life & Annuity, Accident & Health, Life Insurance, and Property & Casualty Insurance licenses.
