Billy Funkhouser
Billy has spent the entirety of his career in the Wealth Management industry. He began in the Associate Financial Advisor Development Program (AFADP) at Merrill Lynch where he received his Series 7 & 66 designations. After receiving his licenses, Billy was recruited to join a $200mm team at Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor and Junior Partner. While at WFA, Billy learned the merits of the Yale Endowment Model and oversaw the implementation of alternative asset allocation to his client’s portfolios and financial plans. Billy is an Account Executive for Alternativ and enjoys working with advisors to add value to their practices using Alternative Investments and the Alternativ platform. Billy was born in Kansas City and raised in San Francisco. He now lives in La Jolla where he enjoys training for triathlons, surfing, and making the trip up to Lake Tahoe to snowboard.
Education
Billy holds his B.S. in Finance from the University of Kansas, where he became a third generation graduate. Rock Chalk!
